I love my Miata

The weather has been nice this past week and I cannot express just how damn happy I am with the Miata.

It's perfect. It's so much easier to push close to the limits than any other car, and it's so simple, cheap, and beat up that it provides a guilt-free ownership experience. I love that car.

The only things I miss from the 987S are the sound and the looks. OK and once in a long while, the speed. Otherwise, it's not close.

My 6yo saw a guy in a miata the other day with the top down and decided that it wasn't fair that we didn't have a convertible. I tried to explain that miatas are hairdressers cars, but he didn't seem understand. :p

After this week's weather, there is no way I'd want a hardtop for my fun car. I absolutely love my 1er. It's fun like a golden retreiver puppy... all wiggly and squatting and hyperactive

Huh. Why didn't I consider a Miata?

:eeps:

I totally forgot you bought that.

That's awesome that you're loving it.

Great! I haven't driven one in about 15 years. The new body style is sharp. Although I read it's lost its edge a bit?

rumatt 04-13-2017 09:24 PM

Lots of body roll. But the ND fans somehow spin that as a good thing.

They all have lots of body roll. That's what tricks you into thinking you are going fast. :)
