Interesting list and agree w/ most of the cars on there... reasonable acquisition cost and unlikely to go down in value, even if they don’t appreciate a lot. Some of them are definitely trending higher though.
I’ve casually watched E46 M3 market for a while and feels like one that has been on upward trajectory for a while now. 6MT coupes and decent mileage and no major issues are $$$ and climbing. I think a lot of us would extend the Boxster window to include 2nd gen cars. I know JST mentioned upgrading his, but feels like he could also keep his current car another 10 years with little to no drop in value. |
Yeah the 987s are pretty close to the bottom of their depreciation curve. Not sure they’ll ever appreciate but I doubt I’ll lose much keeping it other than maintenance.

You can still find E46 M3s with the awful SMG gearbox for pretty cheap. The swap to a stick isn't that hard either.
