I wish my bosses didn't know I live footsteps from my office... I've already been designated for contingency basically all weekend.
I was driving back from class Tuesday night at ~11pm from downtown Baltimore and saw some CRAZY drivers on I-83 and 695. I cannot believe how many people just slam on the brakes for seemingly no reason. I was driving my father's Tundra last weekend in the snow of western MD and have to say I much prefer my little 318 on snows to the Toyota 4WD system. However, if we get even half of the expected amount, my car will be sidelined as it just plows. |
Well, DC folks? How about it? Anyone do some nice donuts with fresh snow tires and that good two feet? :D
It sucks up here. Nothing. Just a dusting or something, lamest snowstorm ever. |
We have over 20" here in chester county west of Philadelphia and it's still coming down. Just finished my driveway. By the time I got done, there was over an inch of new snow where I started....

It's going to be a challenge getting the iX out of the alley, I think.
We might have to chain up. Kind of wishing I'd tried harder to mount the chains last night. |

Awesome. The snow is so deep that the iX can't quite make it out of the alley WITH chains installed.
If we shovel out the corner, it should be fine, but what a pain. Plowing with the valence is much easier. |
Why do you feel the need to go anywhere?
|
Exactly. My road has not been plowed. It is deeper than the clearance of any of our vehicles. A Ford F350 got stuck and his buddies had to use the snowblower for an entire block to get him cleared to the main road. Even so, he nearly took out our power pole. We probably have close to 30 inches.
