I know, right?

The best part is that having visited I now get pushed ads from their FB page.

"Still looking for a used car? How about this 1983 Mercury Capri RS 5.0? Or this 1987 Buick Grand National?"

I wonder how much the vette is discounted for, you know, missing one of the T tops

It also looks like the undercarriage was painted by someone who built too many Revell models

Interesting selection

JST 05-19-2020 09:18 AM

Apparently it is owned by a family that used to own a big Pontiac franchise, and whose patriarch was a collector. It's an odd way to sell a fairly interesting selection, to be sure.

I think the worst part is how whoever did the listings couldn't even be bothered to list the transmissions correctly.

43K seems like way too much for a G8, given that SSs go for basically the same money, right? I still want one.

Love the 6spd GXP.

clyde 05-19-2020 01:05 PM

The G8 GXP is an oddball and has just about held its value since new. 10 years ago. Availability of the SS didn't/hasn't done much to affect that. Dunno why. Also, not sure how used SSs are fetching these days (or were fetching 75 days ago).

The ad for the banshee is hilarious. I love the 3950 discount and the suggestion to also check out a 2016 Nissan Rogue.

Showed it to my wife who made a good call: the owners wife is pressuring him to sell these but he doesn’t really want to - so he’s putting them for sale on his Kia site.

Could be pressuring, could also just be free publicity. How many people have gone to this dealers website that otherwise would have zero reason to? I think this was featured on Jalopnik recently too. Maybe at that price they’re fine selling it, but also perfectly fine if it sits there forever and just spreads across the internet driving the occasional Kia buyer to their website indirectly.

For sure. Would be kind of ironic if he did this initially to spite his wife "fine- i'll put it up for sale on my kia website", but as a result, went viral.

Another nice touch is how they misspelled Delorean's last name as "Deloreon"

Maybe that's like the Oakeys and Panaslonics I used to see street sellers hawking in the Bronx on the way back from Yankee Stadium when I was a kid. Jerome Ave. specials
