We got about 1/2" here. Basically all melted now. I got my snows on just in time though. I would have been ice skating on the PSSs if I had tried to drive on them last night or this morning. Thankfully my 5 year-old PA2s have a reasonable amount of tread left. Need to think farther ahead next summer/fall and actually buy some new winter rubber before it's all sold out.

It's been, what, 7 months since we got it and I still really like it. So much so that I'm not missing the Miata. Well, not much. It's "sporty enough" for me that it scratches that itch when I want to play. But it lets me do a whole lot more things and go a lot more places than a sports car. It's become my all-around utility car for hauling the trailer and it's now my go-to camping car for heading up the rutted forest service roads up in the mountains around here (and it managed mid-20's mpg, too, while packed fully loaded with gear and peeps).

Recently I had a chance to test it out in some recent snow. I was impressed. With it's electronic controlled AWD system and all-seasons I wasn't expecting much but I just motored all over the place, even up and down a number of prominent hills in our area. Basically, any snowy road with a moderate-to-steepish grade didn't phase the Juke. It's certainly capable enough of getting around in the winter.

And the car feels very stable and planted, both in wet pavement driving and on snow (with appropriate caution).

So. . . . funky. But still ding'n it.

Boo, I was expecting the addition of some oversized BFG AT's or something wild like that. :p

Though it would have been nice to get some dirt tires for it, or something with more / tougher side wall.

The reality is that it's probably best left alone.

It's more oriented toward the street. But with just enough capability to run some rough gravel mountain roads. Which describe's what'd I'd need 98% of the time.

I've had it balanced on two wheels on some particularly rough patches of road and side trail (to camp sites) and it really doesn't take much before you reach the vehicle's limit. While I've not broken it or gotten it stuck, you can just sort of feel how close you're getting to the limits.

And the 2" extra inches of ride height is quite nice. . . but man, compared to my Jeep (16-17" belly clearance) I feel like I'm about to scrape the bottom at a few times . . . but I haven't yet.

On really rough pot holed roads it'll keep up but it's stiff road suspension won't want to go fast. Yet my friend in his JK Wrangler wasn't going much faster either with all that heavy unsprung weight of his solid axles. And, while he would bash through pot holes without a second thought, I could dodge and weave around them with very flat, stable body control. It was actually very pleasant not being in a rig with a lot of top heavy body sway. Very odd experience up in the mountains.

Just passed the 10 year mark - nothing new to report, except I still love driving it everyday!
