Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
Looks like the embargo lifted:

Given a choice based on what I've read and seen so far, I think I'd prefer the CT4-V Blackwing. I think it presents a much better value and I would be able to enjoy it more of it more thoroughly more often. But the CT5-V Blackwing would be a mighty fine substitute.
The only thing that really turns me off to them are the name designations. Mouthful to say and pain in the ass to type. I mean, seriously, if you're a car person, what is there not to like about either? |
I mean if I’m honest, my critique is the same as it was for the last Gen—it’s more power than I want or need. A naturally aspirated V8 in about a 475 hp state of tune is really what I want in a car like this.

Yeah. The reviews I read of the earlier ATS V described that engine in fairly unflattering terms, though ppl seem to think it’s better in the new car.
I’d rather have a V8 than a twin turbo V6, and the CT5 seems like the real final mic drop in a way the CT4 does not. But I’d like to drive both to decide. |

I would totally get this car in the manual. It’s “light” at 4100 lbs. |
What, no wagon?
