For sale: Hoosier wets & rear TCK DA Koni rear shocks
If anyone is interested in the following, or knows someone who might be, please let me know. When I'm not so lazy, I will post on other forums also.
1) 245/40/17 Hoosier Wets (set of 4). Purchased new from Tire Rack last year in September. Tires have 7 autox runs on them in the rain at nationls. Kept bagged and out of the cold. Asking $600 (new $900) 2) 2 rear TC Kline Koni double adjustable shocks. New in box, never installed. asking $500 (new $790). |
For the non-psychotic-autox-freaks among us, two additional items:
If nobody here wants them, they're going on flea-bay. OEM M3 strut brace. Excellent condition. I bought one earlier when I found out my strut towers were crowned, and I ended up buying two by mistake (I commited to two people, and they both agreed so I sucked it up and took both). It has all parts (including the plastic cover thingies) but does not have the 6 bolts you need. They can be purchased from any dealer but are fairly expensive (like $5/bolt and you need 6 of them). Price on this varies, but I paid $180+shipping and so that's what I'm asking. OEM M3 steering wheel. Used for about 1 year. Looks new. I took it off because it isn't SCCA legal. Asking $300 shipped. (I already sold it once for $320 shipped here but the buyer backed out before I left for vacation. |
Are you totally done with autoxing?

These are all extra parts. The koni's are the rear spares, which I've decided I don't need. The wets are the only questionable sale, but I really don't see a scenario where I need them in the next couple years, and by then they'll be dried out and useless. |

Newb question here, but are shocks generally interchangeable between any cars that use shocks?

Within the long answer, there would be a section that says that cars built on the same platform may be able to interchange them but that would be followed by a section asking if you would really want to. In some cases, the answer may still be yes. |

Sorry for the elementary questions. I know so little about suspensions. |

Then there's the rebound and compression rates. Pretty much everything. Quote:
