sounds like it's great for its perceived class, like a tall 330. BUT. slow. heavy. chintzy.

they said at the end of the day, if you read between the lines, that it's a supreme example of badgehound-man-ship. and this point is highlighted by their suggestion that people look at the infiniti FX35 or the lowly, ugly subaru forester XT.

they did complain a lot about the interior workmanship of the cabin, said the engine was soft off the line (wouldn't you be, too, if you had to move 4000 pounds?), it braked well, handled decently, but ended up being $43k.

It truly is just a stupid vehicle IMO. But it won't surprise me if it sells well.

I completely agree. I wouldn't buy the 330iT either, but it'd be cool. An e36 M3 wagon would be ideal.

I suppose I could deal with an e46 M3 wagon. :P

Lemme guess, the Forester XT isn't in the "same class" as an X3. :sumo:

I agree with their Forest XT comment. GREAT little SUV. I would buy one over a X3.
