wow, I'm almost impressed with the lack of fucks given.
|
Wow, but maybe it is just Toyota attraction
|

Wow.
|
How does one exit their car, take a look at that, and say, "OK, sure," and walk away?
WTF |
You've made the mistake of assuming Toyota drivers are at all aware of their surroundings.

I don't think that's a US-spec Camry to begin with. Look at the headlights -- Could that be something imported by a diplomat and later sold locally (or not elgible for diplomatic plates)? It has some customizations (like the side vents and bad stickers). But the integration of the headlights, front fenders and bumper cover is too good to be a DIY or even professional customization (and the stickers reduces the change of a professional customization). The headlights are similar to the last gen Lexus ES300, but the hood lines are different. The headlights are also very different than the prior-gen Camry: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...0_--_NHTSA.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...a_Camry_LE.jpg |

Its a camry circa ealry 2000's
|
Where are its M badges??
|
Oh it's most definitely a US Camry. Early 2000s, ~2 gens back. The SE models had the blacked out trim on the headlights (don't ask how I know, I just retain that useless info)
As for SE Camry... have any of you seen the latest Camry commercial where they interview the couple and the wife talks about how she loves how sporty her SE Camry is? |

I think I laughed the first time, no, the first time I saw it I thought "huh?" and hit the rewind button on the remote to hear it again, cause I thought she said "run it into the ground"
|
|
I love it.
|
Was behind a 1st gen Highlander this morning (ie a Camry tall wagon).
Could help but laugh that both sides of the rear bumper had Camry Corners... |

Not a Camry, but I saw this gem today:
http://forums.carmudgeons.com/attach...1&d=1354640565 That's an Escalade ESV, so a rather long vehicle. When parked on an end space, he couldn't be bothered to pull all the way forward into the space, or even come close to staying within the lines. |
I park across like that all the time in spaces like that. It avoids door dings and doesn't take up two spaces. Of course, my car is a little smaller than that. Still, I don't see anything wrong with moving over a foot in a spot like that.
Can't tell from the picture if the back is sticking out. |

It looks like they were using the "Jeep" next to them as a guide. It's not pulled in all of the way either. Granted, it's not nearly as long, so it's not an issue.

Today, in the "small car only" end spaces, there was a full size long bed PU, a Chevy Traverse, and a very poorly parked Kia Optima. All of which where hanging well out into the travel lane. |

I can remember when the e46 seemed, while not large, at least average - now it's hard to see in a parking lot. |
New day, same parking job.

Oh this could be fun to watch for a few days!

You should print it, turn it into a "which one of these is different" game, and stick it up on a bulletin board at work
