That's weird that the code can't be used with that oil. I've never seen that before with any product, except things that have already been discounted.
As far as brand, it wouldn't worry me at all for a daily driver. Mostly, oil is oil. For street cars, stuff that isn't used hard, it really doesn't matter at all. The exceptions are for engines that have really strict engine oil needs, like BMW's "grenade with the pin pulled" M-car engines. |
