Also interesting... Tesla has all the data about what happened - when your hands were on the wheel, when you brakes, etc.

That woman admitted to using her phone at the time of the accident...

So is your current delivery actually on schedule? Or is thet messed up too?

And yeah the woman sounds like she wasn't paying attention. I'm more interested in the EAP failure modes. This one sounds pretty bad. I'm sure they'll use it to train the system though and it'll keep getting better.

I think it's surprising to most people that the car won't emergency brake in a situation like that. It makes sense, once it's explained, but it does require some explanation.

Right - and it’s the same with all cars that have adaptive cruise and AEB. Tesla really should drop the name “autopilot”

The woman may bear some responsibility, but Tesla is culpable and it's Musk's fault she used his product as he's sold it.

It’s back on track now. Frustrating to know that I could have had the car over a week ago if the Vegas guy had actually scheduled the delivery...

Good news is that I just got the S re-appraised from CarMax and the offer is still the same. I was worried that it would go down since it’s been 3 weeks since the last appraisal...

that is impressive since they low balled me when I took my E90 M3 back after the first offer expired. I figured they did that on purpose since they figure you are desperate since you came back.

C&D Drives P3D+ with track mode

(Which I won't bet getting, because I removed the PUP again :eeps: )

Why not get the PUP? A set of MPS4S, brakes etc, 5k is not so much. Unless it rides too stiff.

I see a bit of Panamera. Yeah, I'm still struggling with the exterior.
