Just saw a new corvette. I first saw it in traffic I couldn't figure out what it was, I thought maybe it was Ferrari. Basically looked pretty good since I thought it was a exotic from far.

At the last local Cars & Coffee there were four new Corvettes present. All, but one had black wheels. :ack: Side note, there were 840 vehicles present at the last C&C in November. Apparently some sort of record. |

I have seen a few examples of the new Vette in person and it's really a great looking car, but none of them had black wheels (fortunately!) I've never been a Vette person, and still not sure if I'd actually buy one, but it is really a nice looking car and all-around a much better offering. Kudos to GM for making some interesting new models. It really is good to see the "Big 3" (or Big 2 1/2) coming up with some respectable vehicles over the past few years after years of questionable stuff. |

There are still some things I wish were done better on the C7, but it's eye catching! |

Weird, I found the C6 to be a nice improvement over the C5, which was just okay. That big slab-sided butt was just not attractive to me. Still waiting to see my first C7 on the road. |
I saw a C7 for the first time on the road just over a week ago... From the approach, its obviously a 'vette. Didn't get a good look at the rear as it went by...

I like the general shape of the C7 (which isn't that much different from the C6), and the proportions are solid. The details, though, are a bit overwrought, particularly the big slash on the side and the terrible, terrible, awful, really super bad graphics around the taillights, which look like raccoon eyes.
