Strange thing on this car, there is no Auto stop/start feature, I thought this was standard now on any car, I only know a little about this but isn't the Government giving some type of credit if the vehicle has this ?

does start/stop technology even work with a dual clutch tranny? I thought this was a no no for the life of the transmission

That is a blessing in disguise. I loathe A.S.S. (Auto start stop) especially on a performance vehicle. I code it to be permanently off on any of the families newer BMWs via BimmerCode.

I used to hate it too but nowadays you barely notice it unless it’s a super hot or cold day, the ac/heat doesn’t work as well.

Thank the lord mine came with a switch above the start button. Once it’s clicked to off its ALWAYS off. No reset per start. Whew

My X5 is like that too, but while coding other things that are available only in the EU I coded it to be permanently off.

My wife's Fusion has it, but the default is OFF and turning it ON requires about 5 steps through the MMI
