An LED light replacement should be super easy and sounds like a great idea.

FWIW, there is definitely a trend in hiding the odometer. Tesla moved it to an info screen, and trip odometers are on a slide-in panel on the the 3 and Y... otherwise you done see any info on distances on the default screens...

I swapped to LEDs in the tailgate for my 4runner and they made a huge difference. Guessing they have something equivalent for your Mazda, just be sure to research a bit and not buy some crappy ebay ones.(which I might of done initially :eeps:)

Damn!

It's like a UFO is hovering above you!

Reminds me of what my back garage looks like at night from the outside with all the lights on inside. It's so damn bright.

It will take some getting used to that the gas cap is on the driver's side of the car...

That is all. Still enjoying my budget Macan ;)

And it's the car my son always wants to ride in, for some reason.

This is one of the little things I enjoy about owning Teutonic vehicles. Whenever I drive up to the gas pumps at THE COSTCO I normally have a free lane to pull right up to the tank in, because invariably there is a queue for the driver side fill up vehicles.

Speaking of THE COSTCO, while on the way there recently I happened to be side by side with a CX-5 exactly the same color as yours at a traffic light. It definitely has a light purplish hue like the Orient blue found on the E46. I rather fancied it and would be a color I could settle with for a good long while. During the 8 years we had the E46 325iT I really became quite fond of Orient blue.
