Such memories. So nostalgia.

Not feeling the mods on this one, though. Will be interesting to see how high it goes.

Why the total flurry of 996 Turbo's on BAT lately?

The first couple brought good money and the word is out on BAT now. They all think they have the second coming of the porsche bubble.

Not with 80k miles. Maybe $50, but I'll bet closer to $46k.

Could probably sell just the signature/photo for a grand.

clyde 04-18-2016 08:49 PM

944 Turbo S $30k at the moment.

This is pretty much he one I want. But not $30k

As Bren alluded to, it's time to sell that's why.

I almost linked this the other day, but reading the comments it seemed pretty clear that it was going to take off.

Ok, so a bidding war needs to start soon, or I was off by $10k. It is still sitting under $36k. Maybe the BAT bubble is broken?

hmmmmmmm this is very interesting. Nice car.

If that car were closer I might do something stupid.

Theo 04-21-2016 03:45 PM

This 04 NSX in this color combo is stunning!! It will bring a HUGE price I bet.

20 minutes left and still hasn't crossed $36k. Wow. I bet this one doesn't get much mention on Rennlist.

Great first car for your kids to learn on.

Theo 04-21-2016 05:17 PM

I have a question about BAT. It seems like 60% or higher of the seller notes I read state that the current user bought the car less then a year ago from someone who had it for years, did some maintenance and clean up and is now turning around and selling it.

Is there a big used car flipped thing going on right now just like homes were before the home bubble burst?

$36,250. That seems like a REALLY good price as far as P-Car crack prices go.

you got to figure it on the BAT fee to the buyer which I guess would be $38325. Still seems like a good price. Higher mileage for a turbo but they seem pretty solid minus the coolant pipes. Bren should of bought and swapped in some sport seats.

Yep, probably.

Really should've bought the slick top one first tho.

clyde 04-23-2016 07:14 PM

That cheap Turbo...there's a decent discussion there about selling price for that car and where BaT is the right place. Weird, a place with comments that aren't immediate flame war

Interesting white slick-top 318is. Bren?

That's definitely my kind of configuration, but my kid is a long way from needing a car.

Theo 04-27-2016 11:09 AM

I am not a huge fan of 2002's but I really like how this one is set up.

I like the black out trim treatment.

bren 04-27-2016 11:36 AM

That red one looks nice, but there was a cooler 2002 on there a week or so ago.

Clyde, how about another road trip to Michigan?

That's a cool car, but 20K plus or whatever it ends up going for is more than I could justify spending on a 944, no matter how nice.

I blacked out the front grills on mine, but left the rest of the trim alone.

This one does look sharp

So. Much. Want.

I'd have trouble going over $20k for one, yeah, but mostly because I'd probably drive this a lot and make it much unnicer than $20k in short order.

Sunroof would not be a deal breaker for the slot this kind of car would fill.

bren 04-27-2016 09:16 PM

Lucky for you it's only at $15.5....

:D

Theo 04-28-2016 02:27 PM

I knew this NSX bidding would get up there. I bet it finishes in the 80's.

One hour left.

I've said it before and I'll say it again--I've never driven an NSX, so I don't know the answer, but how is an NSX better than (e.g.) a 987.2 Boxster? Which can be had for less than half this cost? Which you can drive all the time?

At this point, are people paying 80K to park a late model NSX in a bubble for future collectors?

I wouldn't pay that price, but I know these cars have a loyal following and this is a very nice example.

My guess is 25. The Porsche bubble...she is large.

Theo 04-28-2016 02:43 PM

What the hell is this?? I have never seen one of these before.
