2020 RS6 Avant coming to US

Looks pretty good. Obviously won't be cheap. Do Audis still lease poorly?

You have my attention.

I still think an EV is my likely next car, and this is too expensive to consider, but that is a cool car.

Mentioned it to my wife but she asked would I recommend the RS6 avant over the AMG 5 series wagon and I am not sure if i would. Guess I like the drift mode/rwd option on the AMG.

interesting...

Very cool. It will be well north of 100k, but cool. As far as leasing, yes, Audis still lease poorly especially high-end low production ones like this.

Uber wagons like these, hell even uber sedans, are a wash with me. To expensive up front and then to expensive to fix once they are a good price used.

I guess the sweet spot is to buy used after the huge depreciation but then shell out for the best extended warranty you can get. Then aim to sell as soon as said warranty gets close to its end date.

I should have sold the E39 when that happened. Oh well live and learn.

If you're not power hungry (but I guess we all are here), there's this:

Wow, that's steep. And I thought my 2011 E91 at 50k MSRP was crazy expensive.

Too much for no stick and a 4-banger. I rather buy a used AMG for 40-50k and keep the balance for repairs.

Yeah. They must think they have a rare beast. And they kind of do with its spec. But it's definitely muted by the 4 cylinder and AWD--and plastic seats.
