New wheels/tires installed yesterday....

I finally was able to get the wheels and tires installed yesterday - We've had such crappy weather recently, the CS was not able to get out for anything - till then.
I had the tires ordered some time back so I'm sure Discount Tire was happy to finally see the car.... ;) and get rid of my parts.

I selected Falken FK-452 tires to put on the Alpina wheels.
The car drives (with the 16's) just as nice as it did with the "OE" 14's - I was concerned it would be too harsh. Just a shade bit firmer - very nice actually.

So - here we go!

Oh - and just for grins and giggles... Had the fleet together for the first time... Thought you might like to see..... :)

Thanks guys...

I'm still on the fence about letting the 2002 go-
I have been driving the CS a bit now (I have about 1,100 miles on it since Oct) and LOVE the smoothness of it all.
But - I can see how the 2002 is much more tossable - and probably near as fast in the twisties.. Plus - having had that car for 26 years now, I know EVERYTHING about it - good and bad. :)

Nutz.... I guess time will tell.

If you're not short on space at your house why not keep it?

After 26 years with that car, you're going to seriously regret selling it at some point down the line. Keep it.

Hell yeah.

...Unless it's worth a lot and you could use the money for other priorities. But :dunno:

Not a fan of the bottlecaps on the 02, but the Alpinas and the CS are a perfect match to my eye. Nice.
