Rented the 4 door sport car on Kauai, the Nissan Maxima.

Kind of a odd car, everything cries sporty but then it is fwd. Actually pretty darn fast, could roast the front tires with ease. Once moving it was sort of a Japanese muscle car, cvt would kick down and it would launch forward with a growl. Pretty fun at times. Seats are supportive with seemed like decent tech. It did seem like a fairly large sedan without a lot of space for its size.

But i would not see why you would ever want a higher horsepower fwd car. Some of the worst torque steer I have ever felt, almost ripped the wheel out of my hands and sent me off the road once. Laughable bad at slow speed. I should of looked at the front tires though since maybe they were bald exacerbating the torque steer. Also the car was pretty beat up, front right clipped had been hit and kept popping off.

Something different for me .

Some other cars....
4-runner seems to the #1 local vehicle, they were everywhere.

I’ve driven the maxima, it is really fast and I found it fun even though the front tires spin every touch of the pedal :D.

I do agree it’s a little out of control.

I dunno what you paid for that, but car rentals in Kauai during the high season are appallingly expensive.

That's not bad.
