I'm not a fan of all of the styling elements, but it looks (to me) a hell of a lot better than the abomination that is the new Supra. And I'm glad there is another manual-gearbox sports coupe coming out.

Given it's a Nissan there will probably be one or more major flaws that make the overall package really unappealing

I see a little Datsun 280Z in it, myself.

you should like the new one since it has its taillights :)

I like a bunch of things about it, particularly 400hp and a 6spd. Like some others, I do worry that the age of the platform will be a liability.

A rwd, smallish, manual, 6-cyl coupe... I should like it, but somehow the design is not drawing me in. Is it the awful, huge rectangular grille? Is the color or the two-tone? I'm not sure.

It looks like they were going for the bargain basement midpoint between an Aston, the Supra, and the Z4.

I had no idea this was coming out ... I think it is pretty cool but Nissan's interior's lately seem very bland ...

Torch has a nice piece on it. He even proposes a "fix" for the front:

Obviously the new car was meant to capture as much of the original S30 as possible.

The Z32 300ZX is one of my favorite designs of all time, but I generally love the design of a lot of the early 90's Japanese "supercars"

A couple of interesting things I've noticed over the past few days--first, ppl mad about the square grille have never really looked at a 240Z:

Second, I'd forgotten all about the Nissan MID4 (both generations), and how genuinely good looking the second gen car was.

It needs a little more rubber especially on the rear, but it's a really slick design. Better than the (later) NSX, or at least its equal.
