Oh. In that case, no because I'd be waiting for the e90 M3.

I really don't like what I've seen of the E90 interior, and unlike when I bought my E46, there's plenty of competitive offerings on the market today in that segment. I like the 5er and 6er (though not crazy about the E60 interior), but those are out of my range, and too big for my taste anyway. So, regrettably, no... I don't think a Bimmer would be in the running for my Summer '05 buck. With no further research, off the top of my head, I think I'd probably end up in a G35 Coupe. |

And by next summer, Audis will all look like shit as well.
Leftover '04 S4? Oh, wait, that violates the rules of the question. |

Re: Who would seriously consider a *NEW* BMW if car shopping
Just to clarify...
I think I pretty much will forever be done with the entry-luxury cars. My garage in the future will look like this Vehicle 1- Family wagon/SUV. Likely to have a very nice and comfortale interior since it will be the wife's car. Vehicle 2- Commuter for me. Unless we are wealthy and I can swing an AWD TL-type car, this is bound to be some kind of under 25K Subaru-type car. So this is the only spot, where if we have lots of money I may consider a TL/G35/3er/C-class/A4. Vehicle 3- Fun car. Coupe/cabrio/targa. Whatever. Just a a fun weekend/track/autox car. Maybe some summer commuting. My 330i will be sold to obtain this car. |

Right now? Not a chance. Given another year or two to "forget" about the experiences I've had with BMW and MINI, I might consider one again. They're still a very granite-solid car that handles and accelerates better than most anything else in its price range.

Did you have any significant problems with your first 330? |
