Will do. BTW, Just got the parts for the front brakes. Will try my best to get them on this weekend. My car now has 59.7K miles and still on the original fronts without tripping the sensor (I'm gessing the sensor must be faulty, there is very little pad left).

I have mild interest from 3 people at work as well, but as far as posting, this will be the first place.

The 5 speed auto (steptronic, it was the first year for them) in my 2000 323i was just right - smooth and responsive.

My wife's 5 speed auto in her M35x is the best auto I've ever driven - just wish it had a sixth speed.

The E46 steptronic was fine. I don't like automatics, so I didn't like the E46 step, but it did everything you could ask an automatic to do well - smooth, responsive, etc. The E9x is completely different.
