I think it was in the showroom at Bickford for a while (if it is the same one). |
BaT can be a dangerous place....
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-bmw-850-ci/ Interesting. I'll have to follow this one. Love the color. http://13252-presscdn-0-94.pagely.ne...er-940x627.jpg |

Cant wait to see what this goes for.
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-bmw-m3-23/ $120 is my guess. |

While, on one hand, it's incredibly sad that this car has never been wrung out the way it was designed, it's also pretty amazing to come across a 100-mile example of a 1-in-125 car from 22 years ago. Anyone who could buy this car, most certainly has other cars that they might be more willing to actually drive. Just saying, I wouldn't trade. :D |

If I had to buy a high mileage Audi . . . .http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-audi-rs4/
Maybe too many modifications |
I simply do not understand the appeal of one of the M3 LTW at $100k. They are just not that special.

:dunno: The big issue with this particular car is that its new owner is pretty unlikely to put big miles on it. (Then again, the odometer rolled past 99 during the prep work for sale...I guess it's already in three-digit territory, too bad.) Seems kind of a shame to have this very nice car and never rub the mold release compound off of the tire treads. |

For the right price this could be a fun knock around 2nd car.
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1995-bmw-m3-24/ Aren't the 95's more tuner friendly? Those seats are in GREAT shape. Usually Vader's look like hell. This is also neat! http://bringatrailer.com/2017/02/08/...0-hp-1966-mgb/ |

I'd like to drive the MGB, I bet it is a blast, and probably unsafe:lol: |

Also, I'm probably being paranoid, but I wonder if this was a track toy. Fresh, non rusty bolts holding together the exhaust. Vaders that look almost too perfect to have 75,000 miles of use. Fresh Sachs shocks (who buys these on purpose?), etc. It wouldn't stop me from bidding, certainly, but it seems odd. |

Nice wagon, nicely optioned just m-sport except the lack of Xenons. Kind of interesting that BMW threw in leather but no xenons.
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2012-bmw-328/ Edit; too bad bat was not around when I sold my wagon. Mine was a unicorn too |
Surprised that this car is unique enough to end up on BaT. It's nice and all.

That's a beautiful car and I've been thinking more and more about getting one like it...but deleting the cats is just irritating.

Regarding the reinforcement plate on the bottom, I sure hope that photo was taken just before it was put back on. That's an integral part of the chassis and BMW tells you not to drive the car without that part installed! |

Ours has the grey interior but is otherwise pretty much the same. And we have approx 35K miles on ours.
|
When the time comes to sell our Audi wagon, I'm thinking it might have to go up BaT. Quattro, sport package, 6-spd. It was at the dealer last week and the service guys were blown away that my wife was the owner of this particular "unicorn" (they did call it that).

Most times, when looking at the auctions there, I think that I'm happy I'm not the seller having to deal with or be exposed to all the criticism in the comments. Yeah, you are reaching the niche buyers, but at what cost? |

Speaking of cost, what kinds of sellers fees are collected by BaT?
|
Can anybody tell me why there are SO many of these on BAT??
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1971-alfa-romeo-gtv-2/ There is a least one every week. Are they that popular? |
They were on TV. I can't even remember now what commercial it was that made them famous.

They are gorgeous in person. The proportions are perfect. |
