Roadstergal I've had my magnetic Manta bag on both the GS and SV at... speeds above the legal limit. Doesn't budge. It stays on more firmly than the strapped one.

The second pic shows how red the bikini fairing :P is.
I was a little afraid of the magnet tank bag. I know nothing would happen to it, but something made me nervous about losing it.

I love the concept and the looks of them though.

Roadstergal I think you would do well on an M50.

Yup, my bike was 7K out the door. (bought other stuff later though,...

If I were shopping for a cruiser, I'd be all over the Suzuki C50 Limited - in addition to being a well-made bike, the red paint job with ghost flames is very well executed, and the thing just has style.
I definitely plan on checking out the Japanese cruisers.
Hell yeah, metric cruisers are the shit.

I love my C50, and I also agree with Rgal on everything she said.

The beauty of the C50, and all the new boulevards, is that it has a decade of aftermarket parts already.. THis is the old Volousia remember?

Yeah Bruce, I've seen your picture, you would look big pimpin' on this...

I could see you on a Honda Rune
LOL. Not sure about the Rune....it's styling is a little too futuristic for me. I want to rent a VRod for a weekend and check that bike out. I love the styling of it, but have not heard great things from other owners regarding the reliability of that model. I've got time to check out bikes, I'm in no rush and my bike is fine for now I guess.
Here is my honest opinion...

Why would anyone spend 18Gs on an 1100?

Spend 11 and get a meanstreet or something.
I never have been a big fan of cruisers, but I am really digging the looks of the Yamaha warrior these days. That thing is mean looking.

Are you surprised the VRod isn't reliable? It has a Porsche engine, after all.

My next addition to the bike family will have to be more comfortable for a passenger. Maybe a sport-tourer of some sort.
Lol... I am NOT impressed with the VRod at all. It does look nice though.

Honestly, if you are going to buy a Harley, make it a Fatboy, or a Heritage Softail. Ohhhh Yaaaaa

I find appeal to Sport touring bikes... the crotch-rockets don't inspire me though.

As for yahama building nice bikes, yup, most certainly. They have a cultish following with aftermarket parts too.
