Their software for GPS playback is Windows-only... and the files are saved as .AVI files, so you'd have to use VLC or some other third party player to view them on a Mac, I believe.

If that's not a show stopper then it looks like a pretty good deal. :dunno:

Also, 32GB is the max size SD card it can handle. But I think that's still several hours of recording at 1080p. Maybe 6 hours? 7? Maybe less... depends on the Mbps.

I've been considering one.

A guy I work with just got one -- he was clipped on the freeway a few weeks ago. He was in the middle lane, and a woman changed lanes into him, fortunately it only scuffed his front bumper. But she tried claiming to the police that he changed lanes into her.

I don't know if he's installed it yet though (he got a ~$75 Blackview on Amazon...)

Keep in mind that, as helpful as these things might be, they are also likely subpoena-able in the event of an infraction on your part.
