When I get my CCA rebate check that's going to the INJ3-M20 shark injector. :paranoid:

Hack, I think you should REALLY consider saving up the bits and get a SC. :D ASA already has one for the Z4 and yes it can be as fast as an E46 M3.

If I get an SC, it would mean:

a) I'm keeping the car at the end of the lease (a possibility)

b) I'm going to go AC Schnitzer on the charger. 295hp, 2,995lbs SHOULD leave Stuka in the dust.

We'll see. Until the lease is about to run out I am not going to make a decision on this.

C'mon, ACS SC?? They use Vortech and they cost more too (3 times more). Besides, it's not track proven. :lol:

But whatever it is...I always say this and I will say it again: I totally wasted time/money on Dinan and going through the CAI etc. once you compute $/hp, a SC is the way to go. Wasted time: having to deal with the stupid dealers. Wasted money: well we all know how much Dinan parts cost.

Say...now that Howard, Kaz, Raffi, Sergio have driven my car, I am surprise you haven't. :D

Whenever the first Driving Concepts school is next year. BMWCCA does not allow roadsters without a rollcage.

That's chapter-specific. The BMWCCA as a whole doesn't disallow roadsters (our local chapter will allow roadsters with - eep! - factory roll protection).

You might be able to badger your chapter to let 'em in?

i'm curious as to how well you'd hold up anyway with the OEM car on a track v. the e46m3.

with comparable driver ability, the z4 weighs less. it is down on power by a lot, but on a track with fewer straightaways......
