not the oval, exactly, but the road course built into part of it.
i believe one of the guys who runs there as an instructor has a Z06 (C6), too.

The general consensus that I hear is that it both sucks and is dangerous.
I really want to do a track day.

Dude, that's an awesome combination. Kind of like wearing a Dixie Chicks shirt at a Toby Keith concert.

The SCDA folks run good events, I'd highly recommend them.
I did one of their track days back in '02.

The E46 snow tires and rims I sold to Plaz were purchased from Alexei

Split a Cayman, 350Z, or the Mini Cooper two ways between Lemming and FC.:dunno:
Not a bad idea. We're going to Paris for a week in mid/late april though. It will be a hard sell to Mrs FC.

Funny, he used to tell me his 33Ci did fine in the winter on the OEM Conticraps.:ack: I guess he finally wised up.
I haven't seen those guys since I last did Autox, over 2 years ago.

What he sold me wouldn't clear the calipers on his 330, but they fix on my 325xi (and on Plaz's wagon)

why don't you make me fit a boat anchor onto the back of the car while you're at it?

there is some cheesy exotic car club in boston (they show up a lot at the car shows at the larz andersen park in brookline) that charges not only for annual membership, but also for usage of these "exotic cars".
i laughed when i looked at their brochure. it's a total Rent-A-Center like scheme where dumbasses get hosed. if you actually had the money for one of these cars, it'd be a lot less than the actual annual dues plus rental fees.
