So, what do you think? I know you don't like the Z4 styling but I think the color combo works great.

Looks great, Hack! I dunno if I could do the red leather, but the grey is beautiful and the styling of the car is growing on me.

IMO, the colors are great.

But you'd think I was exaggerating if I told you my honest opinion of the Z4. So I read your thread and resisted commenting.

So I'll stick to, "The colors are great."

Meanwhile I'm looking to close the deal on a wagon. :twisted:

The Z4, unlike the other new BMWs has grown on me and now I like it. Yours looks great HACK! Props man! :thumbup:

Ironically, for me it is the only recent design that I actually have grown to like LESS. The others I have acclimated to to some minor degree. The Z4, on the other hand, IMO now ranks as the single ugliest car on the road, bar none.

Looking good!

I'm not sure I would do that shade of red either, but 10K bellow MSRP would go a long way to help me over that issue.

Of all the new Bangle designs, there is much I don't like about the Z4, but there is also much to like, and I can accept a greater departure in design on the roadster than in the mainstream models.

Car looks really sharp, Hack!! best of luck with it.

I hope your wife lets you drive it soon, cause I would like to read a serious review of SMG from someone who knows what they are talking about!! (after you have driven it a few hundred miles)

I drove my dealer's "test" Z4 w/SMG, but they only let me drive it about 7 miles. That didn't give me enough time to "play" with it.

Actually, since it's for the wife, I think it's a better choice for her than the M Roadster. But I don't think a red top would look quite the same - the black top is much better on the Z4. :smile:

Have you posted any interior pics?

Now that I've seen the Sterling in person, it's easier to appreciate the pictures. It's a stunning color. That's one gorgeous car, man. I'm jealous.

But I like the shifty thing with the knob next to my leg. :smile:

Dream Red Leather is nice, but still doesn't come close to Tanin Red in my opinion. I hadn't seen it in a while, but then we got a 323ci with Tanin Red Leather off lease a few weeks ago, and I instantly recalled why I loved it so much.

HACK, you have to take it to the track...

There is one in my run group this weekend, nice silver 3.0 with Hoosiers. An Automatic too :?

Anwyay, he is quite fast, I believe he instucts. Well, at least fast until he lost it in turn 7 and ended up on the top of a hill. :shock:

Yeah, I may have mentioned elsewhere that someone in our local club autocrosses a 2.5 Z4 and he is turning excellent times. In fact this is his first year, and he just got first place in our class today.

The car is misclassed, since it's running with stock 330's and modded and stock 325's. But it really kicks ass. :thumbup:

I love the extended leather too.
