Yep, pre-2004 S2000 stays in BS.

Elise is not out yet and so not classified yet.

Grassroots Motorsports took the new S2000 out for a spin. In a nutshell, they found the new car to accelerate better and have much more usable torque. However, in second gear the car tops out well under the old car due to the shorter gearing. Of course, it also has larger and wider wheels.

Shrug...IMO, I'm not sure that the changes deserve the upgrade to AS. It'll be very interesting to see the first of them autocrossing this season.

And then there is the argument that the old S2K should have been in AS to begin with. Looking at the results from Topeka, it's somewhat understandable. The old S2K would have taken positions 2-4 in AS, 7 of the top 10 and 10 of the 18 or 19 trophy spots. (assuming that conditions were the same when AS and BS ran).
