23k miles in 18 months! You don't get out and about in it much, do you? :D

Just as a comparison my ZHP just turned 3 and it only has 12.5k miles, although it's not my daily driver.

LOL we put 15K miles in 10 months, then I switched jobs. I put 8K miles on my 330i in the past year. My wife takes the train (station is on the way to work) and I have a 3.5-mile drive to work.

Not that anyone looks at the classifieds here, but this isn't funny.

I was joking around ... to clarify I have no knowledge of this car or it's history to anyone whom is interested in it.

Good that it's automatic. Otherwise, I'd be tempted. It has been a long month and 1000 miles with the 5er. Or my gf's impreza could be upgraded. Or.. Wait, as AF said, no need for reasons, just do it!

FC: Did you put it on Nasioc? Use both for sale & regional for sale forums. Don't know about Mass/New Eng. but the tri-state classifieds are quite active.

It's a 5-speed manual transmission, not a slushie.;) The slushie on Imprezas suck.

Good point re: NASIOC. For now, I already have a mild lead from work.

Oh man, I was so sure about the auto part of it that I didn't even read your ad. But wait, I thought your wife didn't drive MT and you have two manual cars?

If you do want a manual, there was a nearly new LegGT wagon for sale in NJ a month ago. 05, turbo, MT, 3 or 4000 miles, asking $20 or $21k. I would go for that in your position...

No, my wife drive manuals. She drove a MT Beetle when I met her (before I knew how to drive a stick). I learned on her Beetle, sort of. She is just not passionate about manuals and wants the family car to have a slushie (provided it's a "good" slushie). All other cars will be manuals.

I'd love to get a MT V70R, but we'll have to pay the $1250 for the 6-speed geartronic slushie.

When did Saab move the ignition from that idiotic console area?

when subaru started making their cars

So, has Saab performed enough of an Impreza transformation to justify paying a few thousand dollars more for the Saab version? Unfortunately, the answer is no. Despite its slightly longer warranty and handsome styling, the 2006 Saab 9-2X strikes us as poor value for the money. True, the Aero model performs every bit like the wonderful WRX, but its 100-percent-Subaru interior feels inappropriately downmarket, and it doesn't deliver the sort of refined ride quality you expect from a vehicle in its price range. Additionally, upscale features like stability control, a high-end audio system and a navigation system simply aren't available. If you want a premium wagon in this price range, the Audi A3 and Volvo V50 are much better choices. If you just want a fun-to-drive wagon with reasonable monthly payments, proceed directly to your local Subaru dealership.

Yup. This car is nothing but an Impreza with some cosmetic and feature enhancements. See first post for list of differences.

I saw a 2007 Saab 9-5 wagon at the mall today, and it had the ignition in the middle console between the two front seats. :?

Saab 9-5's are all-Saab, much like 9-3's. 9-2X's are really Imprezas with saab clothing.

Yup. The 9-5 and 9-3 are Saabs (although with heavy GM parts-bin influence). The 9-2 and 9-7 are not Saabs.
