Has anyone seen the pictures?

I am trying to understand why the enlarged nose, hrm, cavity?. Can anyone explain why the change from FW25's?

It looks to me like that allows more air to go over the front spoiler with less deflection from the nose cone.

got it...

By widening the opening, or shorten or raise the nose, the objective is to create a less turbulent flow from as early as through the two-prongs (or nose supports). Thereby allowing air to be efficiently channeled all the way to the rear wing.

Yah? :?

Everyone knows, larger nose = bigger phallus.

We all know BMW/Williams has the biggest cajones in the game.

All kidding aside, it's hard to figure out what benefit a wider nose like that could serve.

I suppose they're trying to take a page out of the closed wheel cars like Le Mans prototypes, by flattening out the nose and widening the support for the front wing, perhaps they're decreasing turbulent airflow over the front wheels thus creating less aerodynamic drag at higher speeds? One glaring problem the Williams have last year compared to the Ferrari, is that despite a ~10hp advantage, the Williams is clearly slower on the straights at maximum speed than the Ferrari.

And someone is already working on the FW26 for the game:
