I'm just amazed...

Image is EVERYTHING (http://forums1.roadfly.org/porsche/forums/cayenne/forum.php?postid=4246354&page=3).

Quote "The streets will fill up with these V6 cayenne and we will lose the magical feeling of being unique, or hearing "wow he is driving a Porsche""

As if it's any surprise the Cayenne appeals mainly to badge buyers?

Leveraging a brand in such a way can only ultimately weaken it. I hope Porsche realizes this.

Actually this quote is better:

Only the TT is the real Porsche in the Cayenne

NONE of the Cayennes are real Porsches.

But the S has a 'different exhaster'! Everyone will be able to tell it is no mere wannabe!

Turn left to tighten, right to loosen. The toilets, sinks flush/drain clockwise. The xmas tree is suspended by god's own will (impossible lean angle going here). The dog gets a work out from the cats chasing her.

RDF doesn't begin to cover it.

(then again, V10 diesel Touareg is becoming more appealing)

I was walking past a running Cayenne Turbo today, the dashboard read 14.1 mpg average.

I'm suprised that it is so good...

Well, when you drive around on Cruise Control set at 5 mph below the speed limit while you put on your make up and shave your legs, it's easy to achieve that kind of fuel consumption rate.

Maybe I should teach that to Stuka. I think he's averaging something like 8 miles to a gallon on his new Porkchop.

For some reason, I have seen a ton of these in the last few days (ok, maybe like 6). All of them were black. They were all the S type. Half of them were on the shoulder of the highway.

That's just nuts.

My '80s shallow status symbol gets 29. :dunno:

porsche officially acknowledges that it sells the lemming mobile to buffer it against hard times, currency fluctuations and soft sports car markets.

they do KNOW what they're doing.

unlike some people in munich these days.

BTW, it is 180/14 = 12.8mpg.

Dude, that's almost RX-8 territory. You get more power AND better mileage...go figure. :dunno:
