Lets see....
There's the new MB forums on Roadfly.....
MB World (http://www.mbworld.org/home.html) that you were told about.
BenzWorld (http://www.benzworld.org/home.html) also(and I'm in there as well in the W126 forum as LIP277)
There's also a tech forum on the MBCA website that I used to go to. I could do some looking in there to find out how things are going if you'd like me to.
To be honest, after having both Mercedes and BMW for 10 and 21 years respectively, IMO you will not find as much Mercedes DIY involvement as you know there to be with BMW.
