I am selling my T-30HP compressor because I purchased a new, larger model. Specs and reviews from Amazon here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004TRCO/qid=1141608765/). This is an excellent compressor which is perfectly happy to work in very cold weather, even on flimsy extension cords. It can run my 1/2" impact wrench, though you will need to wait a few seconds between lug bolts for it to recharge. It still has 3+ years on its electrical warranty and has always been drained and cleaned after each use. Amazon lists it for $415.39 before a $50 instant rebate. I'm selling mine for $275 plus shipping. Pickup or drop-off is available in the greater NYC metro area.

If interested, I will throw in some air tools (tire chuck, blow duster, etc.) as well as a coiled air hose and some fittings.

Huh.... do you mind if I ask why this particular compressor is > $400 new? Supposed to be higher quality than the cheaper units (which have seemingly similar specs)?

Huh.... do you mind if I ask why this particular compressor is > $400 new? Supposed to be higher quality than the cheaper units?Yup. This is likely the best compressor in its class. It is quiet, starts and runs happily at below-freezing temperatures, isn't picky about the circuit it is on, and is made in the USA. It has a 1 year "everything" warranty when new, and a 5-year warranty on the electrical components. Plus, rebuild kits are available at low prices if anything should ever go wrong. I think you'd get decades of service out of this unit. I suggest reading the Amazon reviews...

Any idea how much shipping would be to SoCal?

Any idea how much shipping would be to SoCal?Amazon says it is 59.1 pounds. FedEx quotes $50.68 for ground service. UPS Ground wants $62.31. Of course, these rates are subject to change if the actual weight differs or I goofed on the dimensions.

I was about to say I'd take it....

but it only goes to 125 PSI, and I need to fill my portable tank as high as possible. My silly costco compressor goes to 135, so I think I'm going to have to stick with that.

So I kinda cheaped-out 'cause I needed a compressor around the house and Harbor Freight was having a parking lot sale a couple of weekends ago. At first I saw a Campbell Hausfeld H7360 1 Gallon Pancake Compressor (http://www.amazon.com/Campbell-Hausfeld-Gallon-Pancake-Compressor/dp/B000BOCBAM/sr=1-6/qid=1161666581/ref=sr_1_6/002-3272518-4644014?ie=UTF8&s=hi) on sale for about $50. But as I was walking around in the store I saw this Campbell Hausfeld FP2048 2 Gallon Compressor (http://www.amazon.com/Air-Compressor-FP2048/dp/B00081FGEQ/ref=sr_11_1/002-3272518-4644014?ie=UTF8) for the same price, so that's what I got.

Just used it for the first time. It is noisy as all hell, as others have indicated these oil-less units can be. It only goes up to 100 PSI and SCFM @40PSI-1.0, SCFM @90PSI-.8, and had to recycle about 3 times just to put air in my tires with the regulator set to 60PSI. Part of that was due to a leak in the quick-disconnect coupler I'm using (also a CH part).

So, except for the noise, it'll be fine for inflating things around the house and for use as an air gun for small jobs. It might even be ok for ocaisional brad nailing, if I ever have the need. It's certainly NOT going to be all that useful for big jobs with an impact driver. But then I didn't expect much for such a small compressor at it's price point. Only thing I need now is a longer non-coiled air line.

Is your's still available Terry??

Is your's still available Terry??Yup. I think I have a 50' air line with Milton quick-disconnect fittings for it, too...
