That vid is older than black Jesus. :) Was hoping by the video name that it would actually be an Esprit V8... :dunno:

The engine sounds like it actually has a fairly low redline. But the straight-cut gears in the trans are absolutely deafening.

I've heard the term "straight cut gears" several times, but I admit that I haven't a clue what it really means. And wonder why they'd be louder than curved cut gears.

I think I'll spend part of my lunch learning about them.

Haha, right after I posted it I thought to myself "wonder if it's actually the transmission and not the engine..."
