View Full Version : "Walking" the line...
The HACK

Okay, so I've been trying to "drive" the line on surface streets regularly to not lose all that I've learned from the track. What I've found WEIRD, is I've started to "walk" the line too. This morning I brushed my shoulder against a corner on the wall in the office and immediately thought to myself "Damn, I clipped the apex on that corner". Then I thought back and realized that I've used as much of the hallway in making that turn, exited the corner and tracked out to the other side of the hallway...As I walked.
I need help.
yes, u need help... :)
have u seen that Porsche(?) commercial at the dinner table while the father explains how to do the line to his son with his food (mashed potatos?), way cool!

Just don't start wearing your helmet in the office.

Almost did that once. The Driving Concepts school at California Speedway was in the middle of the week, I was going to stop by the office in between one of the breaks (my office is about 5 minutes away from the Speedway). Prolly would've walked in with my helmet but thought better of it. Heck, it was my day off, why should I go back into work because they're having some problems with a none-urgent project? :dunno:

I hope you mean THAT and plus cloth, right?
Not sure how wearing "just the helmet" is going to be received at the workplace.

I do that too... and get secretly ticked off when coworkers get in my way. I wish they'd arc their left arms over their heads with a pointing signal. lol

I can imagine you stopping someone in the hall who was trying to pass you... "HEY! No passing unless you are given a point-by!"
