I'm looking for info for the C6 Corvette and the AMG C32. There's a Benz fanboy at work who was saying his C32 was cheaper than a C6 corvette and that it could smoke it in every performance catagory.

I really don't think that's the case.

No, that should be enough. I found it while waiting for you blokes to do it for me. But since I posted the question, I figured I might as well show you what I found.

Next time I expect snappier responses to better facilitate my lazy impatience. :)

What an idiot. Young Benz owners are trully awful. Most of them can't drive for shit, so they get a flashy (slushie) pimp car and set it up with 20" chrome wheels, slam it, and tint it to 95%.

But they only care about posted 0-60 times because we all know that is the definitive measure of performance. And since neither they nor their circle of people who give a shit can shift for shit, slushie cars provide fairly repeatable drag times.

Now you tell him that a C6 has a better 0-60 time and he will tell you how he put some Brabus or Lorinser mods (probably just badges) that make it put out 500rwhp or some other outrageous BS number, and how *he* got a 0-60 time of 3 seconds flat.

In other words... just like any other poseur (indert-brand) fanboy.

Is this going on at MBworld.org? I hate that place. I once said that this dude's car looked great except I would have kept the wheels at 18" (not 19" like he had) and not lowered it that much, and all hell broke loose.

Especially M3 owners with their wankermatics and their coilovers.

They aren't so bad when they know what they did with their three seconds.

It helps when their three seconds aren't sprayed over other people's tires.
