OK, Duh, but I had to try. :p
The wheels simply can't manage to get control of the tread in any meaningful way. The car requires significantly more steering input for the same result with the R-tires on. Moreover, it accelerates in a rather languid fashion. (I put my Falkens back on yeserday in the evening and man, the car was peppier!)
So now I'm back to 235/40 Ecsta V700s vs. 225/45 VictoRacer V700s. (I'll run the 255s through the winter season and work on curing myself of my street tire habits... R-tires KILL you if you're not smooth, and I do need to work on that.)
I'm beginning to think I've spent far too much time thinking about tires.
