Yep - the car is now sold.

I will keep it for a bit till shipping is arranged.

If I get the chance - maybe even take it for a spin if the weather is good.

But - Off it goes to Philly in about three weeks.

I think IndyMike's wagon is being sold to someone in Philly as well.

I really will (and won't) miss the old gal.

Since the E9 has come into my stable... Probably driven the 02 only 5 or 6 times in 3 years.

Still - after 28 years of ownership - I will shed a tear when she goes.

It was interesting...
When I was driving it home from the shop that did the PPI....
It was like putting on my old baseball mitt......
Didn't have to think about what gear I was in.
Where the gas pedal or clutch was.
What the gauges looked like.
How to start it up (it was in the mid 20's and the carb -had to know how to work the throttle)

Yeah -

What can I say... I will miss her.
But - time to move on.

I really do hope we get as spell of clear weather here before she goes away.
(Shhh - don't tell the buyer... ;) )

The 2002 drove away tonight.

Buyer seems like a nice guy. I think he'll enjoy it.

He's heading to Irvine now then off to Philly to finish his schooling (Med Student)

He has a second (snow) car. GOOD.... ;)

Time moves on. Now - Time to get going on the Coupe's activities. :)

Next on the block is the Red E38. Guess that means I really do need a new sig pic. ;)

Quick update ....
Car made it across country fine. Not too bad for a 40 year old car if I do say so myself.

:)

Case closed.
