The Pontiac GTO is basically a Holden. I think Ford should think seriously about bringing some of these "imports" here to the states as performance oriented vehicles for their line-up.

Australia becoming the new hot-bed for performance automotive engineering?

Yes, the GTO is "basically" a Holden... no wait, it's 100% a Holden. They build "our" GTO down under and export about 15K/year to the USA. :)

"Pontiac" GTO = Holden Monaro "GTO" with different badging, wheels, front bumper, gas tank. Do we get the HSV version? Nooo... :(

Aussie Fords are also very cool, like the V8 RWD Falcon. We need more Holden and Aussie Fords!!!

And Lutz goes and says "we're cancelling our RWD Zeta architecture"... throwing Holden under the bus. Lutz = Putz!
