Is it yours? As with most new BMW's, it looks best in black, that's for sure.

No, not yet at least!! ;)

I took it home for the night to spend a bit more time behind the wheel. It's a really nice car, and I think I'd be very happy with it. I definately wouldn't do Jet Black, though-- it was just cleaned this afternoon and it already looks terrible.

Sooner or later I will be looking for something. I really like this car. We'll see how much longer I can hold off.

Ok... better question "How the hell did this end up in my driveway?"

I thought you said that you drove it home from work

You're a young man, you shouldn't be having these memory issues yet.

is this a 325 or 330? Sorry, I have no clue how to tell the 2 apart yet.

Still, he said he "took it home" - maybe it's in his driveway because it's trying to escape?

I meant that "How did this end up in my driveway" was a better way to ask the original question than the way I asked it, after seeing bono point out the obvious response to my question. I know how it got there!

I'm trying to put off any major purchase like this for a while. Part of me wants the car NOW, the other part realizes that it probably make more sense to wait a bit.

Ultimately, the ti will have to go. The only remaining questions are how and when.

330i SP 6-speed.

The wheels in the pic are the 18" wheels, and they only come on the 330.

I really like this interior, too.

I almost stopped yesterday to test drive one just for the heck of it.

I assume there's absolutely no chance for a 330iT coming here, is there?

I suppose the 325iT would be fine for us anyway though, considering it would have an extra 30HP and 10lb-ft of tq over our current 325iT.

Not sure what we'll do if we're blessed with a second child in the future though.

What's wrong with the current 325iT?

dan

nothing...I'm just thinking about the future possibilities. The E90 325iT won't be out for a couple of more years anyway.

[/mbr]

actually I'm gonna be installing the icelink>plus and a 60GB ipod photo in the current 325iT for mrs bono for her anniversary present.

it's a surprise though, so don't tell her http://forum.e46fanatics.com/images/smilies/shhh.gif

I was behind a Volvo wagon the other day. It's a shame there are so few three-tier wagons out.

E90 325xit (not really an E90-- I think it is E91 or something like that) will be out THIS SEPTEMBER.

E90 325it will be out NEXT SPRING (2006).

The new sport seats are one of the nicest features about this car-- power adjustable, power lumber, and power width-adjustable side bolsters. Very, very nice!!

And, for those of you that don't like power seats, you can still get power width-adjustable side bolsters with manually adjustable sport seats on 325 models.

oh, wow...I thought it was going to be longer before the iT came out.

:eeps:

well, we'd probably wait until our CPO warranty ran out and there were used E90 iTs available. (mid-2007). EDIT--oops, our CPO warranty runs through 2009! Free maintenance is what runs through 2007.

although we could do an ED with a new one if we really wanted one I guess. Our daughter would be 1.5 by then and probably able to go with.

If you want. "We have a child already, and are looking at adopting another one. We will use his semen this time."

Probably a day or two in early July, then by mid August. I may go to Scotland in late August, but that is not settled yet.

Ooh, that's nice...wish I could have ordered the M3 that way.

Every time I see an e-brake lever, I'm automatically going to think of that Volvo ad.

yeah..I think we'd be fine. So how IS the xiT with 2 car seats? We're putting in a Roundabout this weekend, as ours has outgrown her infant carrier.

Have any car seats ever gone in the RX-8?

clyde

The wagon is fine with two seats. Two forward facing Roundabouts in it right now. It was fine with one forward and one rear and it was fine with one forward facing and the infant carrier and it was fine with just one forward facing or rear facing.

I've driven the RX-8 with both girls in their seats a few times. It was a little tight getting the younger one into a rear facing Roundabout in that car, but it wasn't that bad. I frequently have one car seat in the back of the car, but it doesn't get used very often.

personally, i thought you guys would figure out how to fit two car seats in the back of a mini, aty.

:)

is the new e90 significantly wider (passenger space, not track) than the e46?

i am still at a complete loss for how the 325, which has a 3.0 litre engine, still has less than 200ft#'s of torque. how on earth does that happen, in this era of technological engine marvels?

What about black window trim vs. chrome window trim? Is it still like that or are they both chrome?

Nope, just like the E46, the 325 has black trim and black strips on the roof, and the 330 has chrome trim and color-matched strips on the roof.
