Good for her.

Some people have way too much time on their hands if they are copmlaining about that...

I hope she wins on this one. It's just such a freaking waste of time/money/etc to process this complaint when on the face of it the plate itself is not offensive (it's not a curse in and of itself nor an abbreviation for anything bad/sexual/what-have-you). It's just a personal expression.

If the owner was smarter, she should have said that the plate is a tribute to a friend named John who was born on March 16th.

I wonder if I can take the complainant to court because she has some physical characteristic that is objectionable (like she wears a miter or other overtly religious garb out in public).

I just don't get it.... So what if you don't 'like' the plate. Is it offensive? Hardly....

I could see some folks having problems with the one below. Again I don't mind it - I think it's humorous actually.....
Note - It's also a Washington plate. So.... ???

If someone had a plate that said LUV 666, I'd think that was a weirdo, too. :dunno: Same with the guy who holds up those signs at football games. I think it should be legal for her to have that plate, and I think she's a weirdo for having it.

I saw a mini van in Virginia Beach a couple of days ago that had the plate

"TEECHUR"

I really hope that the lady driving the minivan didn't work for the Virginia school systems

Has anyone else noticed that vehicles with overtly Christian stuff on them (Jesus fishes, anti-abortion bumper stickers, God is my co-pilot crap, or a license plate frame that declares "Jesus saves!") are some of the most frighteningly driven vehicles on the road. Give these folks a wide berth because they seem to need it.

They're usually even worse than the white-hairs in big old Buicks, Oldsmobiles and Crown Vics.

No. :dunno:

I thought SUV drivers were the worst. Imagine if the SUV had a Jesus fish on it. WATCH OUT!

I have noticed this, and figured that the owners/drivers figure that God won't let them get hurt?!?

I saw an 80-90 year old lady driving a new Cadillac Deville nail a traffic island in a mall parking lot the other day. The curbing on this island was at least 5 inches high, and when she drove into it with the right side wheels, she literally launched the car into the air.

scariest shit I've seen in a while

ZING! Roadstergal +1.

And as a motorcycle rider, I can attest to the fact that Volvo drivers are the worst. That is all.

No way. The worst drivers are normally found in a white Mercury Grand Marquis. Wearing a hat. And those big-old sunglasses that you get at the eye dr after an exam.

Generally, speaking, it's urban yuppies and really poor people who scare the shit out of me.

How is life in south Oklahoma treating you?

Nick is right. Really poor people and yuppies are terrible drivers. Tailgating and generally driving like the don't give a crap.

Yes, but there are heterosexual weirdos that are neither enviroweenies, nor gay (by definition).

I find anybody on 4 wheels or a straight-piped harley to be the worst drivers. :)

back on topic, I see no reason she shouldn't be allowed to have that plate. Seriously WTF. Some people on both sides are just paranoid.

I think people who find the butt of their car a good place to express their spiritual inclinations are weird. To a lesser extent, people who try to be excessively cute and cheerful via the butt of their car are a little off, too - if the Flame forum on Bimmerfest wasn't gone, I could post a link to my flame about the crappily-driving van with the Hand Over The Chocolate And Nobody Gets Hurt plate frame that pissed Sabrina off...
