i've got no idea how much RKII's come out to be, but ~$1000 for a spare set of wheels that are OEM quality seems decent to me.

I have those on my watch list. I've been watching those auctions for a couple of days.

The price to beat is still $1500 for a slightly used set wearing S-03s.

I still have not swapped rims with the dealer. We paln to do it this Saturday. If the swapped rims look good enough, I'll just live with them. But if they suck too (they can only be better than my current rims but still might not be good enough), I'll put them up on eBay and get another set. I can't stand damaged rims. It's something that bugs me disproportionately to how significant a problem it really is.

oh god no.

it is far from an idiosyncrasy.

cut rims are incredibly bad form.

i'm with you on this one.
