Still burning oil after 30k miles??

OK, I know it was OK for the car to burn some oil in the beginning, but here I am at over 30k miles and I still need to put a quart in every 3 months or so. Is this still OK, or is something up ?

I think BMW considers that "normal".

Depends on how you drive. That's better than I did with my '99 M3, but i drove rather enthusiastically.

Yep, that is how I drive. I am guessing that it is normal, but given the quick rate I am putting on miles, I want to make sure everything is OK.
