View Full Version : Did a little
test driving today. Great day for it too! We drove a 645Ci and a 2005 4.4 X5. The folks are considering trading the 745 after two months of ownership.

how did you like the 645Ci?

I like it. The back seat is worthless though. The draw back is that the 5-Series (545) and the 6-Series will get the 4.8 engine (face-lifted 7) this coming fall.

wow.
i thought that they might keep the 4.8 exclusive to the facelifted 745 for awhile.

WOW!! That will be an awesome setup. The X5 4.8is is a beast of a vehicle. Cant wait to drive a 545 with that engine. I too liked driving the 645 but thought it was way overpriced.

How can a car be as big as the 6-series and have a useless back seat?
Did they mount the steering wheel and front seat 2/3 of the way back or something?

I sat back there. At 5'11" there is very little headroom or legroom. I was cramped. Basically it's a 2+2.
