When I show up at the parts counter, there's a mad rush as everybody at the dealership comes over to ask if I have the car with me (being that this is NYC, I usually take the bus to the dealer) and find out what my latest mods are.
There's also an ongoing joke that I wasn't happy with the way BMW built my car, so I'm buying all the parts to build one myself...

The service department knows me because I always drop my cars off for service sparkling clean. They have yet to give them a courtesy wash.
