This perhaps stretches the definition, but I think the term loosely means any cars stored for some long period of years without being driven or obsessively cared for (as in a museum).

I mean, I'd like to "find" an E30 M3 with only 57 miles on it and take it home with me too.

So this guy bought these cars from some nut that had stuck them in a garage for the last 20+ years?
