Wow. A lot of yellow. Seems that it worked best on the E36 because it didn't have as much mass. I never liked it on the E46, but I do think it looks much better on this example. The black wheels and the yellow accents in the interior help it out a bit.

Yuck... Love the yellow on porsches and audis, but never was a fan of Dakar (well it was fine on the e36M). I did like the e46M in Phoenix.

All yellow cars are somewhat obnoxious. This is just slightly more obnoxious than some of the others.

I prefer the VAG yellow, because it has a lot more red.

Dakar yellow is too pale for me.

But, on the E92 it works OK because it has a nice large area of black that creates a nice contrast. And on this specific car, the black wheels also helps it quite a bit.

In short, if I had to spend 4500 bucks on BMW special order color, I probably wouldn't do it. But I would have no problem buying it used.

It worked best on the E36 M3 because it's a much smaller car, and because of the black moldings on the side panels, which breaks up the large yellow area.

Yellow on a lambo is like silver on any other car, it's just how that car comes.

I see lots of lame silver, black, gray Lambo and F cars in LA.

My favorite Ferrari color is TDF (Tour de France) blue.

Precisely... You can't go wrong doing that, and if I were getting one I might as well, but this means it is a classic, almost conservative choice for that car. There is nothing wild about getting a yellow lambo or a red ferrari. I'd take a lambo in orange or lime green.

Coincidentally there was a silver Ferrari in my office garage today. ZZZZzzzzzzz. That car needs color. Red is definitely best.
