Ouch.
That'll be expensive... for the truck driver's company (or their insurance).
Once had a BMT car hauler crush the roof of an E90. The driver made a very sharp turn and the second level collapsed onto the car below. Clearly some type of equipment failure, but his aggressive maneuver also did not help. In that scenario, we lucked out because up until the car is off the truck and we have signed for it we don't have any responsibility for it. Told him to just turn around and take it back to BMW and they could figure out what to do with it.

That sucks. Running the wipers when dry can scratch the windshield.
