Wow - Toyota suspending sales of certain models due to accelerator sticking issue

Toyota announced its suspending sales of new models impacted by the accelerator recall. Temporary until they can fix them.

They are also suspending production of the same models.

Apparently the issue is that they don't have a replacement part ready to go. Having all but admitted liability for a defect in existing cars, they'd get killed in court if they kept selling the existing models.
