TD are you seeing this???

Yup.

Should've bought one new.

Lowest total cost of ownership imaginable.

And to think - I was worried about EXCESSIVE depreciation.

That said, it's only worth a given amount when someone else is willing to pay it. And only time will tell on that front.

It looks like a sweet car and one I'd like to have.

But, personally, I'd not go there at this point with my $20k.

I never understand why people shit in someone's classified ad.

Not that Greg posted this in search of one of the 12 or so of us that actually post here, but still....

Alex

PS Oh yeah, I'll also vouch for the owner and the impeccable care he takes of his cars.

Well, TD was specifically invited to comment... So I don't know where you're going with that...

Anyway, I feel like I should have bought one new as well. I totally missed it in 2004, I test drove it, got invoice pricing, but I just didn't see it over my lust to finally own a bmw.

Alex, I only said anything because I was asked.

I am not disputing that his price is very much in line with market values I've seen. It's a fair price.

I'm mostly amazed at how well they've held their price. I've posted my amazement at the '04 R32 in this respect before. It's truly amazing.

Also, knowing this board, if I had failed to make some comment about how a value is only a value if someone pays it, someone would have taken *that* shot at me and pointed it out.

It's really hard to not get jumped around this place any more.

I agree.

I really wasn't jumping you personally. It was just a general comment about people posting anything negative in someone's classified. I guess it's a personal issue with me.
